About the Camp
UGA's Summer Marching Band Camp is an intensive five-day experience designed to help young marching band performers expand their skillsets. Our experts provide the personal level of attention required to help you master your specialty as drum majors, color guard members, and marching percussionists come to Athens to learn from outstanding performers and teachers. If you are just getting started in your specialty, our staff can help you hit the ground running; or if you are a seasoned performer looking to tweak some part of your performance, gain unique insight as you grow beneath the instruction of our leadership... And you have never had more fun than you will in the process!

The Summer Marching Band Camp is designed for high school students who have already participated in their school's marching band program. Occasionally, a middle school student who has previous marching band experience may participate at the discretion of the faculty.
Schedule of Events
Below is a basic outline of the schedule during the UGA Summer Marching Band Camp. Times are subject to change. Day campers must arrive to campus by 8:15 AM each day and may depart at 9:00 PM from the same location.
We can't wait to have you on board for this summer's experience! Apply online, or download and submit the paper application to our office. The entire application, including required forms and fees, must be submitted by the deadline. Your application is not complete without your $50 deposit, which you may submit through our Payment Portal.
Safety first! As a part of your application, we will need some medical information and the consent of your parent or guardian. Please print, complete, and sign both the following documents. All documents are required; we will still need a completed copy of the Medication Authorization form even if you don't take medication.
